Green smoothie

Celebrate National Spinach Day on 26 March with this super-healthy drink

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled
  • Small handful of sorrel or mint
  • 1 green apple, cored
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp natural yoghurt

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender with some water and blitz for up to 30 seconds until smooth.
