Win bed and breakfast for two at Harrabeer Country House

Enjoy a bed and breakfast experience at Harrabeer Country House near Yelverton on Dartmoor. The house dates back to the Domesday Book, and new owners Aidan Lang and Linda Kitchen have put their mark on this stylish boutique B&B.

There are four inviting en suite bedrooms – all with a luxurious touch. The bar is a favourite place for guests to unwind, read or enjoy company. On cold nights, the wood-burner is a welcoming sight, as are the well-stocked shelves of books and games.

The couple’s passion is the food they serve at the B&B. They use local and fresh ingredients, plus a sprinkle of imagination! Guests can order breakfast the night before (choosing from an 8/8.30/9am sitting), which is served at a long table in the Victorian wing of the house. Aidan and Linda will find you a quiet corner if you prefer, and guests can also enjoy the tranquillity of the garden.

The menu includes fresh fruit salad, homemade bread, Greek yoghurt, cereals and porridge. The hot dish made with local ingredients will be cooked to order, and options include the Harrabeer Country Breakfast (local bacon, sausage, potato cake, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs of your choice, baked beans and black pudding), eggs Benedict or Florentine, plus vegan and vegetarian options.
