Purple sprouting broccoli with orange, sesame, hazelnuts & chilli flakes
This dish can either be served alongside a main meal or eaten on its own
450g purple sprouting broccoli, trimmed
Zest and juice of 1 orange
1-2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
75g blanched hazelnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
Chilli flakes for garnish
Blanch the broccoli in hot salted water for 2-3 minutes until tender, then drain.
In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli with the orange zest and juice, sesame oil, sesame seeds, hazelnuts, and salt and pepper.
Transfer to a serving dish and scatter over the chilli flakes.
