The Global Cheese Award, hosted by Frome & District Agricultural Society, named Sharpham Cheese’s Washbourne its UK Supreme Cheese. Pitted against 751 other products, Washbourne stood out for its smooth, creamy texture and distinctive flavour.
A ewe’s milk cheese, the curds are washed to give a creamy texture. Once moulded, the cheese is bathed in brine before being aged for eight to 10 weeks.Sharpham Cheese
