Between May and September, Exeter’s Street Food Market can be found in various locations where all kinds of food is on offer as well as a selection of drinks and live entertainment.

Here are just some of the places where you can find great street food in Exeter.

Streetfood at Southernhay Gardens
On the last Friday of every month from May until the end of September, Southernhay Gardens turns into a foodie’s paradise. With fresh local food, drinks and entertainment on offer, this is the perfect all-day hangout for both families and groups of friends. Some great highlights of Streetfood at Southernhay Gardens include their streetfood market, gin bar and live music. Set up in the centre of town, there will be tons of mouth-watering meal options all right on your doorstep!

Night market at the Quay
On the first Thursday of every month, an amazing food market appears at the historic Exeter Quays. Head down after work or take the kids after school to share some amazing cuisine from all over the world. With all kinds of food including Spanish, American, Vietnamese, African, Caribbean and locally reared produce, you’ll be completely spoiled for choice! The relaxed atmosphere with live music to enjoy over a drink or two makes this the perfect place to unwind before the weekend.  

Night market at the piazza
Stroll the night market and tuck into some great food whilst surrounded by beautiful views of the city. This night market has a unique, lively atmosphere that can’t afford to be missed, with live musicians and artists showcasing their talent for hungry diners. Dishes will generally vary from £3-£7, which leaves you with no excuse to miss out! You will also be supporting local and independent Exeter businesses, as the Street Food Market places an emphasis on using the event to support the local economy.

Guildhall Street food market
In the area around St. Pancreas church, you can find the Guildhall street food market every Friday through till Sunday. Visiting the Guildhall street food market is the perfect way to fill your weekend with your favourite foods or to grab a break mid-shopping trip whilst treating yourself to a tasty snack or two.
